TRG Motorsports

One of our most exciting clients expanded their business and needed a website faster than a lap at Daytona.

The Racer’s Group is a world-renowned sportscar racing team that has wins at many famous races including Le Mans and Daytona.  We built their website back in 2006, and they contacted us again in 2008 to build a site for their new venture- owners Debra and Kevin Buckler had purchased a Nascar Truck racing team. They were getting ready to begin the season and hadn’t even started thinking about a website yet.  We had a week to come up with a solution.

Since the original TRG site still looked great, we decided to carry that site’s design and content management system over to the TRG Motorsports site.  We changed the logo and a few other design elements to set the two websites apart a bit, then removed all the TRG data and replaced it with data appropriate for the Nascar team.

Within a week, and just before their first race, the TRG Motorsports site launched with a familiar look for long time TRG racing fans, but just enough change to let them know that this was something new and different.  And for the employees at TRG that maintain the site, they didn’t have a new system to learn- both sites use the same adminsitration tools.
