Desert Home Watch is a small company run by Scott and Sherri DeBasilio in the Palm Springs, CA area.  They have a unique service that safeguards the homes of part-time residents in the area.  They visit each client’s residence on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule to check for theft, infestation, landscaping that needs attention and other related issues.

This site was one of the more simple ones we’ve built this year.  It’s just a few pages and doesn’t have any database interaction, but it still gets our complete professional treatment, including standards-compliant XHTML and CSS coding and search engine optimization techniques.  We also kept the design simple, combining appropriate imagery with the company’s cute character and the colors of the desert - cactus green and sandy reddish brown.

We really enjoyed working with Scott & Sherri- their needs were modest, but we still worked hard to make sure they had a website that represented their business well.
